Typically, Las Leñas guests fly to Buenos Aires. You then transfer to the domestic airport for a flight to the city of Malargue. Planes are usually Boeing 737 or Airbus 319. From Malargue, a shuttle bus takes you the resort. Domestic flights are available Saturday to Saturday only. Because of flight schedules, this routing often requires an overnight stay in Buenos Aires. Flying time from Buenos Aires to Malargue is 90 minutes. The bus trip from Malargue to the resort takes about one hour.

• Tip: If arriving in Buenos Aires, schedule an extra day or more in Buenos Aires on either end of your trip, as it is a fascinating city. As long as you are there, take a day to explore it! This will make those unavoidable travel days easier to handle.

Shuttle Service Costs:

Another option is to fly into the city of Mendoza, via Santiago, Chile. This route is often faster than traveling through Buenos Aires. From Mendoza, a shuttle bus will take you to Las Leñas. The shuttle takes about 5 hours to cover the 180 miles to the resort, traveling through the scenic Argentine wine country of the Andean foothills.
