The Hotel Puerta del Sol is for families and friends. Attractively renovated in 2009 and geared toward families and friends sharing rooms, the Hotel Puerta del Sol has direct access to the outdoor heated pool, a Kids Zone, cinema, library, cybercafé, Bar Puerta del Sol with sushi, and the buffet-style restaurant Mirador del Plomo.

Double South
Double South units are 215 square feet and do not have a balcony but does have a view to the mountain. Each Double South is one room with two twin beds and a bow-window which converts into an additional bed, only for children under 8 years old. It can be connected to another south side double room. There are only 2 double south rooms adjoined per floor. Rates Include:

• Lodging at Hotel Puerta del Sol
• Half board: breakfast at Hotel Puerta del Sol restaurant and dinner at any of the following restaurants: La Fourchette, Don Giovanni or Hotel Puerta del Sol restaurant. Prior reservations are required for dinner. First night dinner is at Hotel Puerta del Sol Restaurant.
• Unlimited access to ski lifts. Valid until the check out day.
• Welcome cocktail. Every Saturday from 18:30 to 19:30 hrs.
• Après ski at Bar Puerta del Sol from 17:00 to 18:00 hrs. Buffet includes, coffee, chocolate, tea, breads, butter, jam, cookies and cake.
• Access to the fitness center. Sauna, exercise room, aerobics and stretching lessons available.
• One body massage per person (basic treatment, 25 minutes) for reservations of 7 nights or more. Not transferable and personal, subject to availability. Only for guests ages 11 and up. Massages available from 10:00 to 16:00 hrs. Daily reservation before 10:00 am. Valid until the day before the check out.
• Outdoor heated pool, game room, pub and planned activities.
• Children's daycare (3 to 7 years old). Hours: 09:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00 (does not include lunch).
• Ski room.
• Ski and snowboard maintenance (repairs not included). Waxing and edge sharpening only. This is for the guest's own equipment or the ski rental equipment from Valle Nevado. Maximum one maintenance per person. Ski Teams excluded. Valid until the day before the check out.
• Free Wi-Fi in public areas: Lobby, Bar Puerta del Sol and at Hotel Puerta del Sol restaurant. Guests can retrieve a password at the hotel front desk. This password has a duration that corresponds with your stay (maximum 7 days, renewable)

Additional Person Charges
Children 4 years old or younger are FREE if they share the room with parents. They will receive the same services as the parent (lodging, breakfast and dinner, and lift ticket).
A guest who exceeds the base occupancy defined for the room (double or triple) must pay an additional charge. The additional charge for children applies to minors from ages 5 to 11. Children aged 12 and older are charged at the adult rate.

A special fee is charged by Hotel Puerta del Sol for the third person in a double room and for the fifth person in a double-double room or loft, regardless of age.
A special fee will be charged per person for double-double rooms and lofts, depending on whether three or four people are occupying them.
